Cody Ron’s Final Ride

From the Mountains to the Milky Way

When our dad, Cody Ron, went in for surgery, he handed over a sealed envelope labeled: “My 5 Wishes.” Inside was just one.

“Send me to space.”

That was it, He laughed about it – said five wishes were too many, and besides, he’d be home in no time.
He truly didn’t think that would be the last ride.

But life had other plans. And when we lost him, We knew one thing for sure:
We were getting him there.

The Clouds

We built our own rocket, packed it with his ashes and played his favorite music. Then surrounded by family, with Five Finger Death Punch blaring, we launched him skyward.
It shook the ground as his spirit soared.

It was bold. It was loud.
It was pure Cody.

The Stars

We’re proud to announce that Cody Ron’s ashes are headed to space aboard a Milky Way Memorial Flight, launching in 2026—on the 12-year anniversary of his passing.

A professional memorial video will capture the entire launch. Cameras at the site will record the moment he lifts off forever, and that video will be shared with all of us who called him ours.

His wish – Our mission
