Because surviving deserves celebration, too.
February 7th, every year. The day we honor the joy that keeps going — even after goodbye.
Built for the Ones Who Stay
Survivor’s Joy Day is our annual event honoring children and families who have lost a railroad-working parent. It’s a joyful, tearful, playful, powerful day where love is louder than loss.
We chose February 7th – the day our founder lost her father, Cody Ron – to reclaim grief with light and laughter. This day carries our pain. And now, it carries our healing.

Why It Matters –
Grief doesn’t disappear — but joy still deserves space.
We created this day for the survivors who are often told to be “strong” when they really need softness, fun, and room to feel.
This is your day. This is our joy. This is how we remember with love.
Join us each year on February 7th — and help us make it the most joyful day on the calendar.
